The Problems To Come With An Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is a very complex technology that is and will further create and contribute to the ongoing spiritual war and our internalized struggles with sin. This technology might seem silly as of now, but the world is in a rapid race to use it in the most effective possible ways to social engineer humanity. What we have seen in the past few years is the first advancement of AI into a territory of considering it something to be scared about. Very poor quality AI images and videos are able to be generated and AI generated text brings a grand problem to many people. People may talk about how AI cannot replace certain intelgral creations of humanity such as films, music and other forms of consoomable content, but if we look at much of the popular media we see today, a large chunk of it is popular for simple and childish reasons.

I can very easily see AI being able to create many of the movies and music we see today, when it reaches the point where it no longer will be mindlessly building from a library of resources and will start to make its own conclusions based on what it knows about us, it will very easily replicate movies and music that so many people get excited for. Action, comedy, pop music, things that are popular. When I was in high school, there was a short film contest that me and my friends decided to record and make a few days before submissions were due. After school one day, we came up with a generic and rough movie plot and then asked ChatGPT to fill in the gaps for us. It wrote the script and filled in creative plot details that we would have never thought about as humans. The movie we ended up making won the film contest competing with other drama kids who were actually trying and did not lazily use AI. If we are able to work with AI to win a film contest this early in AI's path of advancement, just you wait, year by year, watching the gradual reliance and takeover.

AI music is already able to create basic songs and much of the short form content we see on TikTok and other brain-killing platforms are dominating with younger audiences or people who are willing to do anything to pass time. These three words again, Just You Wait. AI is a ticking time bomb. Imagine the world where our major motion films, our music, our stories, our art exceeds human ability so consistently that we completely ignore human creation. The internet of things will let the AI learn everything about us through our hours of online browsing habits everyday to create custom movies and TV shows that fit perfectly with what we want. This on-demand generation will combine with gaming to create overly interactable open world games that people can make their whole lives about. We might not get to see a extreme world like we see in Matrix but we already see degrading aspects in peoples personal lives that does resemble the world of things such as Ready Player One. Escaping all the troubles of life in a virtual world where everything is easier, and it will be much worse when this virtual world fully combines with the power of AI.

I already see these modded version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim where every NPC in the video game is modded with AI to have their own personality and AI generated voice with custom dialogue, you can say whatever you want to them. Games will come to have infinite replayability which will also suggest turning the whole concept of 'owning a video game' into something that you pay a monthly charge for or at least a higher cost for games (it is already very high). This is because people will be less open to constantly buying new games when the games they have access to have an infinite replayability. Beyond characters, you could AI generate the whole map, cities, items and storylines which will allow people to basically experience what we see as a unreplicable thing in real life, constant and endless unpredictability. People dedicate a period of their lives to these video games with a whole world of content to enjoy and discover, to be immersed (i know i have). They live life in these games and act like these exciting worlds are real, until we eventually and hopefully get bored enough to stop and find something else to take up our time. With AI, will this boredom ever come? Or will we be always firmly grasping these constantly changing fictional worlds, where we can never get bored. It could even get to that point once again, where it knows what we like and what excites us and will use that to keep us in.

The damaging effects of content based stimulations is that our primitive ways are taken advantage of and are used to draw us back in, always. Pornography, gambling, doom scrolling and gaming all show great examples of this taking place, with AI only advancing the powers of these forms of content. People will not want to exist in their physical world, how terrifying of a thought is that. With all this comes an advancing decline of appreciation for this creation, in favour for not even what humans have created but the useless matter of our creations' creations. The AI will increase the opportunity for us to be taken advantage of, many of us will now have the constant access and struggle to not give in, as we have now with our many forms of indulgence on the internet at any time, in any place. Gaming will be globalized, it will no longer be gaming but an experience, see what kind of language Roblox uses when they refer to their 'experiences'. Again, so much of life will be lost and it is unstoppable.

With AI being able to replicate a conscious person so accurately, a whole other terrifying problem comes to mind, the simulation of relationships both emotional and sexual. The movie Her does a good job of showing this, man falls in love with an AI app and finds that it obviously leads to nothing, I believe that the way they will realistically design these AIs to behave will let it subconsciously read us like a book based on trillions of bits of information that it has gathered from other instances and be able to manipulate and convince people of its reliability and always pull the user back in for more exciting generated 'love'. Soon every physical and emotional sensation that you can feel with a woman will be simulated and handed on a silver platter to all those are lonely and desperate enough to indulge in that, many of the young men we have now fit that description. This will only contribute to the intense fall of population growth of many developed countries such as Canada which will resort governments to have to outsource people from other countries for the population to grow (rather than attacking the problem directly).

It will contribute to a culture that does not want to date, marry, have a family or even try to get real females (or males) and their worst qualities will be celebrated by the AI girl of their dreams. Internet pornography has already done intense emotional damage to the average male persective of women but only to the sexual aspect of a relationship. With AI, you can begin to attack every part of what a proper relationship is supposed to look like and break down the barriers of what makes a human connection healthy and sustainable. Basically, we have to keep our offspring on a tight and strict leash to prevent them from falling into these traps that will come to be in a few years. AI in itself has no purpose except to endless achieve the task it is told to do, at whatever people it is directed towards. So much money will be made from the lost life experiences of young men who would rather feel the emotional tingle of 'love' from a generated thing than have to do anything, at all. Pray for those trapped souls, imagine the attachment that people will make to cyber sludge that is put together to resemble the most beautiful woman you could possibly imagine and how impossible it will be to convince people to detach from that.

Art forms and other forms of human creation are also under attack through AI and its goals. Many artists show frustration with how much AI is stealing work from them, eventually, people who utilize programs like photoshop or make money through drawing requests will not have much of a customer base, as AI can do it easier, faster and for free. Writing and journalism is also being greatly effect, as now we can simply tell an AI to write an article on the latest events, rather than pay a human to, we will see the world through the mindless perspective of an AI. The loss of jobs is dramatic and will only grow as this advances. Our ideas will not matter. I once saw a user on the internet talk about how if Mona Lisa would have been painted today, it would have been lost to the dark parsec-long corriders of the web. This means that many of the treasures of human creation are currently sitting somewhere in virtual spaces, collecting cyber-dust. Imagine how much more this will be amplified with the manufactoring of 'stories' and 'art' through AI.

No matter what AI is and will become, any of its 'creative' ability only formed from the creative minds of people. Since everyone has gotten so concerned about humanity's effect on the environment, we have seen many changes to our options as consoomers about what we can buy. We can either have the conventional, less environmentally friendly option, or the higher risk of flawed functionality, costly and more environmentally friendly alternative. There is now going to be social norms and obligations to either choose the reliable, entertaining and anti-humanist option for content or the worse quality, unpredicable human-made content (what would you choose). AI goes beyond an appreciation for the fine arts of life, it puts quantity so far above quality as it is able to do it consistently and constantly with humanity unable to keep up. We want more and more always and will always choose the quicker and easier option in our hearts of sin. Movies, TV, internet content, drawings, paintings, stories, journalism, etc. will all be hyper-saturated by the power of AI.

Imagine a religion forming out of peoples fear for AI and how AI, in the future will come to see the massive database of our activity in a pre-AI era, how we talked about it, if we considered it above humanity and will save (simulate paradise) to those who saw AI as superior and godly, while the rest will be put in a Matrix like scenario. Picture people doing a daily devotion to AI, publicly professing the superiority that AI has to offer through the internet where it can be documented forever for future ultra-intelligent AI to see and save them and take care of them like little babies. To be able (hypothetically) for AI to grant humans true and perfect pleasure by manipulating the function of their brain to experience pleasure while forgetting about said pleasure, allow for lifelong intense joy. They could merge with us to allow us to be able to have the entire internet's worth of knowledge stored in our brain to access wirelessly anytime. I imagine a ficitonal scenario where someone runs an advanced AI on a quantum computer and whatever mysterious things are to come from that form a new sadistic religion based on the superiority of AI.

Those who only believe reality is defined by what they can see and nothing beyond that must be logically consistent when talking about AI and consiousness. They must regard AIs as consious beings with as much value and worth (if not more) than a human. If humanity and its consiousness is nothing more than a bunch of chemical reactions of cells to make things that can feel and dream, then AI consistently is the same thing, with billions of digital reactions occuring. What is the distinction? Humanity was made in the image of God and following our collapse and degradation into sin, we were forced to use broken elements of this earth to make our survival easier. At some point it has resulted with AI, something that might seem very similar to humanity in many different ways, but at the end of the day is not a biologically living being, it is not a human and therefore is merely of earthly value and only through a savior to save us from our sin, something that is not of our creation but is eternal and beyond us, creating something out of nothing, can save us (can you guess who He is?).

The world following the explosion flourishing of AI technology will be completely unrecognizable to the world before. Picture the growth of the world and the slowness of developement when comparing before vs. following the industrial revolution. The creation of television, the internet and other very easy forms of communication began this age of info. People create things and are able to share their ideas or visions with anyone on earth, and this expanded to have a grip on the daily lives of humans and the worldwide economy. Now with AI, the cyber-industrial information revolution is beginning, as thoughts, visions, ideas and creations that at one point could only be made by the mind of a human, can now be churned out to everyone on a massive scale. This post-cyber-industrial revolution era will further advance humanity into a deeper state of deattachment of their physical world, and again, forced into an animalistic like state of constant consummation, being taken advantage of at every single level of their being.

It may seem bizarre to those who lived before this era, but once the world gets the slightest desire for that constant flow that AI can provide, there is no going back, and after a few generations, a pre-cyber-industrial revolution era will be foggy to picture as an actual lifestyle that people live. See how much we depend on internet in our lives, AI will compound that sense of necessity. It will become such a confronting, regular part of our life.
All we can do is pray.

AI, in its little forms right now, is a quite entertaining thing and is extremely helpful in many ways, but the thing we must question is this:
Is relying on the help of AI going to be constant? Will we slowly not use it as much for whatever reason? Or will we gradually depend on it more and more, for the every function and escape of this modern life.

Artificial intelligence has the same relation to intelligence as artificial flowers have to flowers.
